I was cleaning out my lovely studio apartment and one of my favorite cleaning rituals is to peruse my many magazines and decide which one's are worthy to keep around and collect dust a little bit longer. One of my favorite InStyle magazine's of 2010 was the June issue of InStyle with Salma Hayek on the cover. While everyone, including myself is still breaking down every bit and piece of Kate and Will's wedding, I can't help but think about Salma now being a fashion princess.
For those of you who aren't following me let me break it down. Salma Hayek, now Salma Hayek Pinault, married the father of her baby Francois-Henri Pinault. He is the CEO of the French multinaiotnal holding company PPR. Some of my favorite subsidiaries are of PPR are lie within the The Gucci Group (Gucci, Bottega Veneta, YSL, Balenciaga, Alexander McQueen, Sergio Rossi, Stella McCartnery) and even they even own sites like OneStopPlus.com (thick chicks like me know about this one.) These are just some of my favorite brands that her hubby is in charge of. She married into Fashion Royalty. Now don't get me wrong Salma had a great fashion sense before she got married but B's song "Let Me Upgrade You," could be from Francois to Salma.

The truth is.. if I had the option of Francois or Will. My prince would be in Paris at the PPR headquarters. Besides, I already speak English and need to brush up on my French anyhow.
Who would you marry? Francois or Will.
I LOVE Salma!
ReplyDelete@thepinklocket We all love Salma. And now her wardrobe even more.
