What does Zac Effron, Teyana Taylor, Jared Leto, Kanye West, The Dream and myself have in common? We all own a pair of Cr8tive Recreation kicks. Many of you are asking, what are Creative Rec's? The are a upscale social/worklife/play sneaker. It was created by two friends in California who were in the shoe industry and decided they wanted to make a sneak for young professionals to wear to work and happy hour. Their debut in 2002 has been hitting Hollywood and Blackhollywood by storm. We all know sneakers are not going to be everyone's thing but this might be the brand that has something for almost everyone. Those of you who know me know that sneakers are NOT in my wardrobe at all but I've embraced my Atlanta culture and appreciate the unique style that Atlantans bring to the fashion world. Atlantans love sneakers!!!
My girlfriends from college were convinced by me to drop their sneakers and Timberland boots for high heels and knee high boots. Now, it's almost 10 years later.. I'm flossing to them about my new Guns... That's right.. For Christmas, I received The Gun Metal Metallaic Cesairo from the Creative Recreation Prime Line. Check them out below.

If Sasha was going to wear any sneaker this would be them. The ability to wear them with leggings and have bling jewelery, allowed this unique sneaker to pass the test with me. I must point out that I got them from my boo which makes me love them even more. One of my favorite little facts about these Creative Rec's is that most of their sneakers are limited edition. Each indivudal pair of Creative Rec's is only duplicated 500 times. This leaves about 10 per state if they are divided equally amongst the states. Meaning their limited edition sneakers are really limited. I haven't been in the sneaker game long enough to know which states get the flyest sneakers. But I would guess that the biggest sneaker-head cities are NYC, LA, the A, The Bay, Chi Town and MIA. Those living in the International sneaker-head world would say Toronto, London and Tokyo. Doing this research, I was faschinated by the world of sneaker-heads and how people love sneakers. In Atlanta, it's part of the culture.
