Ringing It In Right

Happy New Year! And 2010 Fashion has begun. lol. I hope you all had a great NYE and NYD. As I was thinking and listening to everyone talk about what they were going to do and what they were going to wear, I began to put together some images of outfits that I would so wear and so love. So.. We are going to act like I had a fabulous upscale party to go to and we are browsing through my options. Also, I'm thinking maybe I should plan to go somewhere fabulous next year and wear one of these outfits. Let me know which outfit is your favorite.

Over here on the left we have fabulous Michelle Obama in her Peter Soronn dress that she wore to the Governor's Ball. This dress is classic and is something that is timeless.

Kate Moss is flossing this Mark Jacobs (who went to fashion school down the street at the Savannah School of Arts.) We love Mark! Folks couldn't stop talking about these Louis Vuitton's this year so why not wear them on hte last day of the year. I must admit they have grown on me throughout the year since their debut and Ms. Kerrie Washington makes you appreciate them even more.

Don't worry, I also thought about those upscale parties that are still playing Jeezy (an Atlanta favorite) and cost less than $100 to get into. Here are some looks that would work for that as well.

Extended shoulders are fly in any New Year's Eve atmosphere. This will be a continued look in 2010. (Let's hope Rhianna doesn't kill it.)

And of course for New Year's the classic red dress or sparkle sequin's dress always works. This year, next year and the year after that..

But of course my favorite fantasy New Year's dress is French designer Balmain Spring 2009 dress that Beyonce is rocking. So I thought, I should look up a more realistic version which is the KTZ dress in black with rhinestones that you can find at Topshop.com. We will have to remember this blog when it's time to look for a dress for my fabulous NYE party this year. If I forgot someone please remind me.

I wish for all our fashion dreams to come true in 2010.
